Excellent Ethiopian clarified butter! I used it to make homemade kitfo and dulet, and the flavor was amazing. The butter had a rich aroma and authentic taste that made the dishes even more delicious. It blended perfectly with the spices and gave the food a traditional homemade flavor. The quality was fresh and exceeded my expectations. I’ve included a photo of the meal I prepared using this butter. I will definitely buy it again and highly recommend it.

Wow, I’m really impressed with Yegna Mart! The Berbere, Shiro, Kibeh, and Injera are super fresh and honestly taste just like back home in Ethiopia. Getting 100% Teff Injera here in a small city in Manitoba is already amazing, but having it shipped in just 4 days? That blew me away. Really happy with everything—definitely ordering again! It tastes and smells good but it is not Authentic Niter Kibbeh. Maybe my expectation was high.

In some households, a much stronger aroma and taste come from aging butter for extended periods before clarification. While this can intensify flavor, it can also raise freshness and food-safety concerns. We intentionally clarify our butter fresh to ensure safety, quality, and consistency, while staying true to traditional preparation. Taste and aroma can vary by region and household, and we appreciate the discussion.

I bought the Butter and Injera from yegha. The butter tastes amazing, I tried many butter from local store but it ain’t like this one, the same goes to the injera as well love it, surely get back for more. Keep up the good work.
