Order Processing & Handling

Standard Orders

Most orders are processed and shipped same day, Monday to Friday.

Fresh & Perishable Items

Orders containing injera, clarified butter, or other perishables may ship 1–2 days later if:

  • A fresher batch is arriving shortly, or

  • Shipping immediately would cause the package to sit in transit over a weekend

We always prioritize freshness. A short wait ensures better quality.


Same-Day Local Delivery (Greater Toronto Area)

We offer same-day local delivery within 50 km of downtown Toronto (Yonge & Wellesley).

Same-Day Cutoff Times

Cutoff times vary by area to ensure timely delivery:

  • Old Toronto & East York
    Same-day delivery for orders placed before 6:00 PM

  • Etobicoke, North York, Scarborough & other GTA areas
    Same-day delivery for orders placed before 1:30 PM

Orders placed after the cutoff time will be delivered the next day.

Same-day delivery is available 7 days a week.


Standard Shipping β€” Canada-Wide (Estimated Delivery Times)

Ontario

  • Delivery: 1–2 business days

  • Remote Northern Ontario: May take an additional business day

Quebec

  • Delivery: 2–3 business days

  • Remote areas: Additional transit time may apply

Manitoba & Saskatchewan

  • Delivery: 3–4 business days

Alberta & British Columbia

  • Delivery: 2–4 business days

  • Major urban centres: Often arrive within 2–3 business days

Atlantic Canada (NS, NB, PEI, NL)

  • Delivery: 3–4 business days

Territories (YT, NT, NU)

  • Delivery: 3–5 business days

Delivery estimates are not guarantees and may be affected by weather, holidays, carrier delays, or remote location logistics.


Remote Areas & Bulk Orders

  • Remote addresses may experience longer delivery times than estimated

  • Additional shipping fees may apply for:

    • Remote or hard-to-reach locations

    • Large or bulk orders

If extra charges or extended transit times apply, we will contact you before processing the order.
For perishable items, if delivery time is too long, we may cancel and fully refund the order instead of shipping.


Delivery Responsibility & Customer Accuracy

Yegna Mart is not responsible for lost, delayed, or undeliverable orders due to customer error, including but not limited to:

  • Missing unit, apartment, or buzzer number

  • Incorrect, incomplete, or unclear shipping address

  • Failure to pick up an order from the post office or carrier location

  • Failure to retrieve an order after it has been marked as delivered or left at the door

In these cases, the customer assumes full responsibility, and replacements or refunds will not be issued.
