Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship to the United States?
Yes. We ship to all 50 states, mainly through USPS. U.S. orders typically arrive within 5 business days after shipping. Shipping is free on U.S. orders of $59 USD or more. More on shipping to the U.S.
Do you ship across Canada?
Yes. We ship to every province and territory. Shipping is free on Canadian orders of $100 CAD or more. Estimated delivery times: Ontario 1 to 2 business days, Quebec 2 to 3, Alberta and British Columbia 2 to 4, Manitoba and Saskatchewan 3 to 4, Atlantic provinces 3 to 4, Territories 3 to 5. When will my order ship?
Orders placed before 2:00 PM Eastern, Monday to Friday, ship the same day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM, on weekends or on holidays ship the next business day.
How do I track my order?
Youβll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. If you have any issues, reach out to us via our contact page.

Products
Where do your spices come from?
Our berbere, mitmita, shiro, beso, genfo and single spices are produced in Ethiopia and packed fresh in Canada, using our family recipe. No fillers, no artificial ingredients.
What about the Clarified Butter (Niter Kibbeh)?
Our niter kibbeh is made from our family recipe. Fresh butter (αα α α€) is clarified first, then simmered for hours with korerima, koseret, tikur azmud and nech azmud from Ethiopia, and strained. Butter from Ethiopia can't be brought into Canada, so every batch is made here.
Do I need to refrigerate anything?
Our spices keep for over a year in a cool, dry place. Keep the niter kibbeh jar you're using in a cool cupboard so it stays soft and easy to spoon, and keep extra jars in the fridge or freezer.
Are your products Halal?
We donβt sell meat products. Our spices and dairy-based products donβt require Halal certification.
Orders & Returns
What if my order arrives damaged?
Contact us right away with a photo and weβll make it right. Customer satisfaction is our priority.
Wholesale
Do you sell wholesale?
Yes. Markets, grocery stores, restaurants, caterers and distributors across Canada and the U.S. can stock our spices and niter kibbeh. Orders are paid in full before shipping, and a minimum order applies. Send a wholesale inquiry or call or text (647) 490-2157.
